Closiq Mail — Support
The iPhone and iPad client for our private mail service.
Closiq Mail has no public sign-up.
Mailboxes are created by an administrator. If you do not already have an
account issued by your organisation, the app will not be usable and there
is nothing to register for.
Getting an account
Ask your administrator to create a mailbox for you. They will send you a
link that lets you set a password. That link is single-use and expires
after seven days.
Signing in
- Sign in with your full email address and the password you set.
-
If two-factor authentication is enabled on your account, you will be
asked for a six-digit code from your authenticator app after the
password step. A recovery code works in its place.
-
Forgot your password? Use Forgot password? on the sign-in
screen. The reset link is sent to the recovery address on file, not to
the mailbox itself.
Common questions
-
Mail is not arriving. Check whether the sender is on
your blocked list under Settings, and check the Trash and Archive
folders. Filters you have configured can move mail automatically.
-
An attachment will not send. Size limits depend on the
mailbox you are sending from. Mailboxes that send through a connected
Gmail account allow larger attachments than ones that send directly.
The app tells you the limit when a file is too large.
-
A message looks blank or unstyled. Messages are rendered
with scripts disabled and remote content restricted, on purpose. Some
heavily designed marketing mail will look plainer than it does elsewhere.
-
Deleting. Moving a thread to Trash is reversible.
Delete Forever and Empty Trash are not: they remove the
stored copy of the message as well as the record of it.

specific message, roughly when it arrived.
